City of Medford – Bid Notice

BID NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the City of Medford will receive sealed bids in their offices at City Hall at 615 N. Front, Medford, Oklahoma 73759 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Sealed bids will be opened and read aloud for Improvements to Various Streets.

MEDFORD STREET IMPROVEMENTS 
VARIOUS STREETS RECONSTRUCTION

All bids received after 2:00 p.m. on the above date will be rejected. Bids shall be made in accordance with the Notice to Bidders.

A cashier’s check, a certified check, or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. A copy of liability insurance and worker’s compensation coverage (if applicable) shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder.

Bid Proposals and Affidavits must be made on the Bidder’s Proposal Form which are available from the Medford City Clerk at 615 N. Front, Medford, Oklahoma 73759. The bid shall be returned to City Hall. All proposals shall be either typewritten or written neatly in ink. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed as follows: “SEALED BID — VARIOUS STREETS RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT 2023.”

Right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Medford may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received.

Jason Jump is an award-winning journalist and photographer. He has a wide range of education and experience. Jump started out his newspaper career as a sports editor for a daily paper in western Oklahoma. After a short stint in journalism he went on to coach basketball and teach from the junior high classroom all the way to college.
