NOTICE OF HEARING

THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:

You are hereby notified that a Petition has been filed in this Court by Eddie Ray Stegall, the only surviving heir of Earl Stegall, deceased, praying:

Descent be determined of the following described real estate situated in Harper County, Kansas:

Lot Six (6), in Block Fifty-Eight (58), in the City of Anthony, Harper County, Kansas;

commonly known as 211 South Madison Avenue, Anthony Kansas, 67003.

and all personal property and other Kansas property owned by decedent at the time of death.  And that such property and all personal property and Kansas real estate owned by the decedent at the time of death be assigned pursuant to the laws of intestate succession.

You are required to file your written defenses thereto on or before October 12, 2023, at 9:30 o’clock a.m., in the District Court, Anthony, Harper County, Kansas, at which time and place the cause will be heard.  Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the Petition.

Jason Jump is an award-winning journalist and photographer. He has a wide range of education and experience. Jump started out his newspaper career as a sports editor for a daily paper in western Oklahoma. After a short stint in journalism he went on to coach basketball and teach from the junior high classroom all the way to college.
