SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2139
On January 23, 2025, the governing body of the City of Kingman, Kansas (the “City”), passed an ordinance entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF KINGMAN, KANSAS, AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORMWATER DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY; AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE CITY TO PAY THE COSTS THEREOF.
The Ordinance authorizes and provides for the construction of stormwater drainage improvements in the City pursuant to K.S.A. 12-631r et seq. and authorizes the issuance of general obligation bonds of the City to pay the costs thereof. A complete text of the Ordinance may be obtained or viewed free of charge at the office of the City Clerk, 324 North Main St., Kingman, Kansas 67068. A reproduction of the Ordinance is available for not less than 7 days following the publication date of this Summary at https://www.cityofkingman.com.
