COMBINED NOTICE
TO: All persons interested in the Estate of John Charles Day, Deceased.
You are hereby notified that the Petitioner, Clara McCord Day, filed in the District Court of Grant County, Oklahoma, a Petition for Summary Administration. The Petitioner has alleged that John Charles Day died testate on October 28, 2016, domiciled and residing in Kerr County, Texas, that the total value of the Decedent’s property in Oklahoma is less than $200,000.00, and the only heirs, administrators, executors, devisees, and legatees of John Charles Day are Clara McCord Day, 3969 Oak Park Dr., Kerrville, TX 78028-8250; Clara McCord Day, Trustee of the Survivor’s Trust created under The Day Family Trust, dated October 14, 2003, 3969 Oak Park Dr., Kerrville, TX 78028-8250; Cynthia Lyn Day-Wilson, 119 Hawks Hill Road, Loleta, California 95551; John Diaz Day, 417 Willow Glen Drive, El Paso, Texas 79922-2306; Sarah Lou Day, 2220 White Jasmine Court, Apopka, Florida 32712.
All creditors having claims against John Charles Day, deceased, are required to present the same with a description of all securities and other collateral, if any, held by each creditor with respect to such claims, to the Petitioner, Clara McCord Day, c/o Timothy C. Dowd, Two Leadership Square, 211 North Robinson, Suite 1300, Oklahoma City, OK 73102, no more than thirty (30) days following the granting of the order admitting the petition and combined notice, or the same will be forever barred.
Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held on May 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Grant County District Courthouse, 112 E. Guthrie St., Medford, OK 73759, before Judge Jeff Crites. At the hearing, the Court will decide whether to approve the Petition for Summary Administration.
You are hereby advised that you must file objections to the Petition for Summary Administration and Final Account and Petition for Determination of Heirship, Distribution and Discharge at any time before the hearing and send a copy to the Petitioner, or you will be deemed to have waived any objections. If you have no objections, you do not need to appear at the hearing or make any filing with the Court.
If any objection is filed before the hearing, the Court will determine at the hearing whether the Will filed herein shall be admitted to probate, and whether the summary administration proceedings are appropriate and if so, whether the estate will be distributed and to whom.
