OFFICIAL NOTICE OF ZONING APPEALS HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 28th, 2025, the Board of Zoning Appeals of Kingman County, Kansas will consider the following application at 7:00 p.m. in the District Court Room (Third Floor) at the Courthouse in Kingman, Kansas:
Case No. BZA- 25-001, Montana Hickman and Mark Hickman 14407 SE 120Ave., Norwich, KS 67118 request an amendment to the regulation in Article VII, Section 3 general uses in A-1 Agricultural District.
Primary request: In Article VII, Section 3 (general uses in A-1) “18. Premises that are frequently rented out for public or private activities that are not repeated on a weekly basis, and that are not open to the public on a daily basis at times other than when an event is scheduled.”
Alternative request: In Article VII, Section 3 (special uses in A-1) “S. Premises that are frequently rented out for public or private activities that are not repeated on a weekly basis, and that are not open to the public on a daily basis at times other than when an event is scheduled.”
You may appear at this time in person or by agent or attorney, if you so desire, and be heard on the matter. After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case, the Board of Zoning Appeals may close the hearing and render a decision. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
