PUBLIC NOTICE
EXTENSION COUNCIL ELECTION
HARPER COUNTY EXTENSION COUNCIL

To: The Voters of Harper County, State of Kansas, Election at Large. 

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with K.S.A. 2-611, as amended, State of Kansas, that on the date and at the time and place mentioned below, the citizens of voting age of Harper County shall meet for the purpose of electing twelve members, three members for Agricultural Pursuits, three members for Family & Consumer Science, three members for 4-H Club and Youth Work, and two members for Community Development Initiatives, as Representatives to the Harper County Extension Council.

Wednesday, November 1, 2023 / 9:00 am-4:00 pm / at the Harper County Extension Office 819 Central, Harper, KS

Consideration shall be given to the Extension Program for Harper County.

Jason Jump is an award-winning journalist and photographer. He has a wide range of education and experience. Jump started out his newspaper career as a sports editor for a daily paper in western Oklahoma. After a short stint in journalism he went on to coach basketball and teach from the junior high classroom all the way to college. He started an online newspaper in Texas and managed it for 10 years before moving to Kansas to purchase the Kingman Leader-Courier. Jump and his wife, Stephanie now own four newspapers in south central Kansas and north central Oklahoma via M3 Publishing, LLC.
