MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, January 17, 2025, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Fredrick called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Craig A. Fredrick, Max L. Hess. Steve Stinson. Also present was Rachelle D McCaleb. Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Fredrick, Hess, and Stinson used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and Hess led the flag salute.
Mccaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.
No comments from the public.
There were no Transfer of Appropriations.

Stinson moved to approve Resolution 2025-21: Public Notice 2024 Annual Salaries to be published February, 2025. Hess seconded. Fredrick- aye; Hess – aye; Stinson – aye; Motion carried.
Stinson moved to approve Resolution 2025-22: 2025 Free Fair Board Election of Members publication. Hess seconded. Fredrick – aye; Hess – aye; Stinson – aye; Motion carried.
Contract Agreement AT&T for emergency elevator phone previously discussed and approved. No further action taken.
Follow-up discussion regarding Grant County property inspection. There are no checklists or forms to follow during property inspections. These will be noted in the appropriate BOCC regular meeting agenda and minutes.

Discussion of dotgov emails for county offices. Each county office will decide if they would like to switch to the dotgov domain. If yes, they will let the County Clerk know how many emails are needed for each office. County Clerk will obtain a more accurate quote to move forward.
Stinson moved to approve Tabulation for Bid 13-2024 – Six month Materials Bids received for purchase made from 01/01/2025 to 06/30/2025. Hess seconded. Fredrick- aye; Hess – aye; Stinson – aye; Motion carried.
Hess moved to acknowledge Jail Report for December, 2024. Stinson seconded. Fredrick – aye; Hess – aye; Stinson – aye; Motion carried.
Hess moved to approve request for reimbursement for DA Expenses – December, 2024 for
$392.31. Stinson seconded. Fredrick- aye; Hess- aye; Stinson – aye; Motion carried.
Stinson moved to approve request for reimbursement for Election Board Secretary Salary – December, 2024 for $3375.00. Hess seconded. Fredrick- aye; Hess- aye; Stinson – aye; Motion carried.
AFLAC open enrollment discussion included employees will sign yearly AFLAC paperwork at open enrollment for each fiscal year. Employees will also be notified that moving forward, no changes to any supplemental coverages will be made on payroll except during open enrollment time or when there is a qualifying event.
No New Business.
Stinson reported that District 3 is burning today, hauling rock, and working on vehicles. Stinson will attend the OPEH&W meeting at ACCO on 01/23/2025.
. Hess reported that District 1 is working in the shop today. Max will attend the NODA meeting on 01/23/2025.
Fredrick reported that District 2 is working in the shop today. Employees did come up and clean courthouse this morning to remove snow and ice. Business as usual.
