RESOLUTION NO. 2025-R8
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FEES FOUND IN KINGMAN COUNTY RESOLUTION 99-3 PERTAINING TO PRINCIPAL AND ACCESSORY STRUCTURE OR USE.
WHEREAS, Kingman County has adopted Zoning Regulations and Subdivision Regulations which create the need for a fee schedule to wholly or partially defray the costs for administration and enforcement of such regulations; and
WHEREAS, the County is authorized pursuant to K.S.A. 12-757(a) to establish reasonable fees to be paid in advance by the owner of any property at the time of making application for a zoning amendment; and
WHEREAS, fees to obtain a permit for the construction or use of both principle and accessory structures have not changed since 1999, and are therefore inconsistent with current costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF KINGMAN COUNTY, KANSAS that:
The following fees as originally found in Section 3., of Kingman County Resolution No. 99-3 concerning permits for the construction or use of principle and accessory structures are hereby amended as follows: Principle Structure or Use – $50.00. Accessory Structure of Use – $50.00. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force and effect after its adoption and publication in the official county newspaper. The County Clerk is directed to publish this Resolution once in the official county newspaper.
