MINUTES OF BOCC REGULAR MEETING
The Board of Commissioners of Grant County, Oklahoma (BOCC) held a regular meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 9:00 am. Notice of the Meeting, including agenda, was posted at both entrances of the Grant County Courthouse, Medford, OK, Friday, March 14, 2025, prior to 9:00 am. in accordance with Title 25, §301-314 O.S.
Fredrick called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. After roll call, a quorum was acknowledged. Present were Craig Fredrick, Steve Stinson, and Patrick Stepp. Also present were David Kretchmar, Keith McClure, and Rachelle D. McCaleb. Emily Franke arrived at 9:03am.
Teleconferencing was enabled to comply with the Open Meetings Act. Out of the commissioners Stinson and Fredrick used their signature stamps and hand signed as well.
Stinson said a prayer and Stepp led the flag salute.
McCaleb acknowledged the agenda was properly posted in compliance with the Open Meeting Act.

Stinson reported District 3 is hauling shale and looking for downed trees from last week’s wind. They did very well at auction, grossed $44,000.00 and netted $40,000.00. This will go towards purchase of a new belly dump trailer. Stinson also had a capital visit last week about legislation on the books. The 811 legislation has passed on the House floor and moved on to the Senate.
Stepp reported District 1 is hauling shale and looking for trees. They did have someone take a joyride on their shale pit and vandalize the backhoe and have a broken windshield. Deputies came out to get a statement. The landowner has expressed a desire to have gates over both driveways.
Fredrick reported District 2 is moving rock on Osage road. They received the new tree mulcher and will start to take care of trees that are overgrown in areas.
